SOAP

so two weeks ago  i decided to make some laundry detergent. It was seriously one of the easiest crafts i have done. Click here     to get the recipe to make your own soap.

what a week



it was my bestest big sister's birthday on the 18th so kevin and i came down to celebrate her 21st BIRTHDAY. yes she is old and i would like to add that even though the age for girls serving missions has lowered and EVEN though she could go if the age hadn't changed, NO she is currently not going. she feels that she needs to be here. I am glad cause chase will be leaving (i assume) within the next year, and i dont know what i would do if three of my sibblings were gone all at once.

now you should also know that by adding these bEAUtiful pictures of my wonderful sister... she might kill me butt they were so  funny so i had to add them

for dinner we went to some steak house i think it was ruby tuesday but who knows we ate way too much food (just like you should)  it was so fun to be all together including our cousin who is now our adopted sister, chelan. we love her so much.

okay, so now i will tell you about the house full of sickies

when kevin and i drove down to highland, kevin was way sick it was random and hit him out of no where so he took some medicine and i drove while he slept.

when we got to my house my mom told us that Chase had a fever... what the? so my mom gave him natural stuff to help get rid of it and he was better the next day.

i had my sinus infection and thought nothing of it...

oh... and amy just found out that she has walking phnemonia.... great stuff.

on saturday we started the fall clean-up of the yard. my mom dad and kevin were outside using a hedge trimmer to cut the raspberries down. (side note my mom and that thing are dangerous so if you see her using it DO NOT SNEEK UP BEHIND HER) well my mom picked up a branch and her fingers met up with the super sharp hedge trimmer.

my dad was operating it and thought he had chopped off her fingers.

i was on driving duty to the hospital where she was all stiched up

her fingers are going to still have full function so no worries there. (:

okay. so now back to the sickness... 

when i brought mom home she was fine and then i come to find out kevin is feeling sick again...

he got a fever and was feeling nausious

then i just happened to check my temp... i got a fever too.

well today my fever is gone, amy is feeling great, chase is fine, mom's hand is a little sore,

 and kevin is sleeping. (still with a low fever)

Cross your fingers that he'll feel better tomorrow

Update

okay, so i am awful at updating my blog now. im a tad busy with school, work, and homework sometimes i forget about my blog. but i will do a fast run down of the last little while for you..

so my granny and grandpa are on an lds mission in Cyprus, that is a small island off of Greece.

this is their fifth mission... crazy right??? any way they were unable to come for our wedding and then the next month we found out that my granny was coming home for two weeks to sell her house! ahhh

we were all so excited so we decided to have a smith family get together... which, if you have never been to one involves lots of love, screaming, laughing, laughing, teasing, and LITTLE CHILDREN. 

i got to play with my baby cousins!!! 

it was sooo fun. 

so this is charlie. he is my cousin, he is five and also one of the CUTEST kids ever! 

 after the family get together the older kids got in the big old rolling turd (aka our suburban)

and got some delicious rootbeer. with aged vanilla, on the rocks. 

kevin was in HEAVEN

 fast forward about a week and we are watching the niece and nephews. 

it was so fun. 

kevin taught Karleigh math (ps this girl is dang smart)

then after the little math lesson he went and played bat man video games with grayden

 the entire time while kevin was entertaining these two i got to play with the cutest (almost) one year old ever. it was a fun night.

 

... then i am pretty sure this was that same weekend

we went to the football game

i must warn you 

i am a five year old whenever i get with my old roommates

we are freaks when we are together 

but

and in their spare time they like to party at the TOTALLY wholesome {trust me i would know} frat parties.

 on sunday kevin made me dinner 

i didnt want him to get his nice clothes all dirty so i gave him my lest girlie apron i had 

(this picture is in the wrong spot for chornological order's sake but who cares!)

we went and ate sushi 

most of it was good

but 

the stuff in the picture was NAST nast NASTTT

okay so back to the correct order. the sunday kevin made me dinner was the same sunday katie, kevin's sister. went into labor

so after dinner we went to shera's, kevin's other sister, house. 

while we were there this strapping young man was trying to hop the fence

the only problem was that he had a book  of mormon with him and he didnt want to just chuck it 

after failed attempts he decided to just drop it on the ground

after he did this, he tried to hop the fence

seriously we all watched 

(that's kind of a sad fact about us)

but it was funny

then after laughing at this poor man we went to see baby evy

she is sooo cute we all just love her

 kevin had a birthday. 

and listen to how bad i am

i didnt take any pictures sorry kevin! 

anyway the day after his birthday we went to watch the debate 

i swear to you if mitt would have done poorly kevin might have cried 

he was almost crying when it started (he was just soo excited) 

 steve, katie's husband, gave kevin a sitcher to put on our car

now for a story.

ohh ps last night abbie and i went and saw Pitch Perfect. 

seriously way funny 

i loved it 

then i went and played with my family for the night 

i dont know why but this is so funny 

kendra had her back hanging out so we decided to give her crap about it...

 then this morning i woke up to this freezing cold weather and drove home to watch Conference  with kevin and the fam

this weekend is going to be wonderful. (:

oh my lanta... it's tuck's fifth angel day.

so i may need to explain, in our family, we call the day tucker died his angel day.

yes, it is sad to have him gone. 

and 

YEAH i miss him like crazy. 

do i sometimes RANDOMLY burst into tears???

 {this is almost happening right now ;) }

yeppers, i deff have that problem... 

but 

it's all going to be okay. 

today is a happy day. 

tucker was so sick and was hurting so bad 

he doesnt hurt anymore 

and 

even though the people that knew him miss him like CRAZY,

 we still celebrate the fact that he doesnt hurt.

i miss his cute little laugh that he had everytime molly would chase us around the counter, or whenever we would get hurt. 

i miss his face of discust when he hated everything to do with babies...(that was such a funny stage)

i remember sitting in church with him on our lap and he would get so excited 

that he would stretch his arm out 

and

...whack!... 

smack you in the face.

that turkey! 

seriously love him
