Three day weekend!

For the three day weekend we got to enjoy the wonderful clean air at the cabin! Amy and I went on a CRAZY adventure that seriously freaked me out. Amy was pulling me in a sled behind a four-wheeler ON DIRT... i was hanging on the rope for dear life. We went about a mile and half up the road and amy stopped. She pointed to this steep hill and told me that she would meet me at the bottom. HONESTLY the hill was freakin huge and steep. Because amy had started driving away i began down the hill. I was FLYING so i stuck my arms out to stear and my legs to slow down but i was still going fast. finally i reached the bottom and flew off the jump! let me tell you. that was the best thing i have done for such a long time.
    We decided that we needed to invite the boys, Kevin and Chase. So then we pulled Chase and Kevin to the top the toppest point in Bear Lake West. They were dying. Amy and I were dying... so funny.
    It was so fun! many bails and crashes later we have decided that was one of the best things ever!

Chase Gets His Eagle

This big man got his Eagle yesterday. Kevin had tons of homework and tried and tried to get it all done in time to come down to Chase's court of honor but it didn't happen to work out so well. 

Chase was so sweet and cute about it. 

So if you have ever been to one of these little shindigs they have the flag ceremony where everyone stands up and then there is a point when just the scouts stand up ... well awkwardly enough Kendra and i stood up with all the little men and yeah... it was awkward... and way too funny.

I am so proud of what Chase has grown and is growing up to be.

 After the court of honor we got to talk to this lady. We took the picture because we were all twinners with black and white stripped skirts but then it just turned into a laugh fest of memories. We love the Walter family!

Wish the family picture could have been complete with the other two members but... we will get the full picture eventually (:

Life

This weekend has been so much fun. on friday we went to dinner with abbie and christian. after dinner the boys kept dropping hints that they wanted to play games so the girls had a craft night.

i made a wreath (which is still not completed) and abbie painted these cute horizontal stripes on curtains. (they turned out looking great)

 so i bet you are wondering why there is a picture of my couch cushion.... well abbie needed some BLEACH because she had gotten some extra brown spots on her curtain and she didnt want them. so i ran next door to grab my dippie bottle of bleach and on my way out of the house i bent over to grab something and dropped some bleach on my cute couch! okay so there were probably five drops of one cm size drops but still i freaked. i wiped the cushion off as fast as i could and then took the bleach to abbie where i told her, christian and kevin about it. 

Kevin freaked out too, rightfully so, and then kevin and i were off to our apartment again to dump some more water on the cushion. 

thankfully the bleach did not stain anything but man close one!

Tonight Kevin and I went out for Sushi! 

it was so good. we had so much food!

 after dinner we went over to Katie's and hung out. there was a basket ball game on Duke vs. Louisianan and while we were leaving katie's house they had just gone into double overtime. the game had five overtimes before duke won by (i think 3) 

i tried to capture how funny it is to watch a game with kevin but i need a video ... maybe next time.

 i found this photo on my phone from about a month ago. it was at the usu game. 

so great... and so glad kevin cant actually grow a bush-man beard like that!

Six Months!

YAY!!! We made it six months into marriage!. Two days ago was the six month mark. Kevin came home a little late and i didn't think anything of it but when the door opened he had flowers... i am the worst wife ever because i didnt even realize that it had been six months. I was confused so i asked what the flowers were for, all he was, "well we have been married six months!" oh he is so sweet and thoughtful. love him.

For christmas Kevin got me tickets to one of my favorite singers. Ellie Goulding! This last weekend We went to the concert. The venue was originally at the Depot, which is connected to The Gateway Mall so we got there an hour early and hung out at the mall. A half hour before the concert i was getting worried that no one had showed up so i tried to get into the Depot and the doors were closed with all the doors locked. I called a friend and it turns out that the venue changed. It was the Salt Air (a half hour away) yeah, i was freaking out! so with many phone calls to siblings, parents and friends we sped to the new venue. a mile away from our exit we were in a traffic jam. It took us 50 minutes to get off the exit and park. When we got in the Salt Air the concert hadn't even started! The night ended up being great. We had some girls take these really cute pictures of us but some how my camera didnt save any of them... kinda depressing. so here are the photos from the wonderful night!
