we just arent cutesie people

 Last weekend kevin and i drove down with kendra and chase to salt lake for the annual Mormon tabernacle choir concert.  We went to our favorite hotel restaurant, little america. 

if you know anything about their turkey dinner, you will know that they give you ice cream after. so being a dork i thought it would be great to copy those people who do things only for pictures to make themselves look all cute.... yeah we failed!

so needless to say we just aren't cutesie people! 

we are funny people... so laugh.

Drugs are Bad

    This Monday i had surgery on my nose. Well if you can imagine me on drugs, you wont be too surprised to hear that after my surgery i begged kevin for my phone. he kept asking what i was doing and all i said was, "just looking at it" when i was actually snap chatting a few people.

Thank goodness i had enough brains to not instagram these gems. 

Well yesterday my mom came up and she told me that amy, my little sister had said that i was sending her some weird snaps... so i went through my history and found out that i had sent pictures to at least four different people. so for those of you who were privlaged enough to get some snaps, im sorry. and for those of you who didnt... here are two  the most beautiful pictures you will ever see of me (:

So i took the first picture, and as you can see i looked gosh darned terrible. my eyes are swollen, my hair isnt done and my noes is bleeding. 

good thing i looked at the picture and decided to do my hair and open my eyes really big! 

the only thing that would make this better would be if i would have gotten a clean gauze pad! 

 my mom says the title of these pictures is don't do drugs... so just remember... if you do drugs you could look worse than me!

Recent Events

Story: 
    Kevin is my sicky for now... we have been working on figuring out what the HECK is wrong with him since May. After He did about a bagillion and one tests, over Halloween, they finally found some stuff out. Kevin is not processing his fats correctly so this may be why if he doesn't eat he is getting super sick... someone (cough cough) needs to follow that one through with the doctor to know for sure... also he got his galbladder tested and i am not an expert in the ways of gallbladder but aparently they test the function and give grades out of 100. Kevin was one point away from being in the danger zone. Which means he might need his galbladder removed. He has an apointment with his GI doc next week to see what he wants to do now. But honestly we are just gratful that this problem isn't anything worse.

I just think this is cool so more for me than you.

but this semester i am in a foods class and we make tons of amazing things... these are my group members making PASTA! how cool is that?

sometimes i am amazed by how thoughtful people are... my grandpa's baby sister brought a cute little goodie bag to me, my sister, and my brother. just to say happy Halloween... im go glad im getting to know her better. she is an amazing woman

kevin made this ginger tea(not made with real gingers) that he used to drink on his mission all the time. he was raving about how amazing it was. so on Halloween i was making dinner had extra ginger so he made his scrumptious tea. he was the only one enjoying it cause i thought it was so nasty

this is gram. she is my grandpa's sister's mother-in-law. and kendra and i, along with a lot of other wonderful people help take care of her. she is 99 and man she has lots of spunk. some days she makes me a little crazy but she always brings the spirit into the room. I love getting to sing hymns with her while i feed her.

my mom and i made aprons for my cousins'. they turned out cute and it was so fun to get to sew with my mom.

We had thanksgiving with the picketts this year. 

it was so fun! 

we had a great weekend... after we ate our feast we drove up the canyon and shot some guns as a family.

then we got a cute family picture before we hopped back in the cars to go eat so PIE

the friday after thanksgiving we had a GIRL'S NIGHT! 

we went to the Copper Mill where Christan had got us cute folded napkins and palate cleansers. 

after a great dinner we went to the nutcraker. 

It was a fun night and i'm so glad we are making this a tradition.  

 There was a basket ball game over thanksgiving weekend... and because USU is my favorite team (probably cause the have a kid with a fro and a guy that looks like an albino black ginger) we all drove down to salt lake for the game. It was a depressing loss but after listening to a reject of byu, current usu student be down right RUDE the entire game 

(IN that GOSH darned student section mind you)

I have come to the conclusion that I am a die hard aggie fan 

and may or may not have a strong rage toward our blue neighbors to the south. (but just during games)

Can you blame me though??? they tired to steal our winning team cheer! that is just rude (:

so now i think that i might also support the U? who knows... that might be a little to far.

Also i need to add that this next picture is of how full the energy solutions arena was. our team might not have won but our fans completely annihilated theirs... so i guess since i was apart of that i still won... right?

 

Kevin and I stayed with Karen,Wade, Abbie, and Christan in salt lake for the night. We went to music and the spoken word the next morning and it was just wonderful. We liked it so much that we listened to it twice!

Kevin fell asleep during the program! I love this picture. Seriously, i think it is great. I guess this is what happens when your sister is talking to you and your wife is laughing hysterically all night!

Kevin and I went on a fun little date tonight and when we got back we were being PRETTY hilarious so i started snappin pictures. In the pictures it kind of looks like Kevin shaved his head but i assure you he did not.

It's days like today that i feel i can break out my inner "cheese-ball" and say im so glad im married to this lovely fella. He keeps things fun and interesting...kind of weird some times!(: But i wouldn't have it any other way!
